These terms apply to services quoted and performed by Kejora Pipeworks & Roofing Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 202201034857 (1478223-D)) and to the use of the website mailcare.my. Engaging our services after receiving a quotation constitutes acceptance of these terms, together with any specific conditions stated in that quotation.
Quotations are prepared after a site visit or, for simple jobs, from photographs and descriptions you provide. Each quotation itemises labour, materials and access equipment, and remains valid for 30 days. Where a quotation is based on your photographs, it is subject to confirmation on site; if conditions differ materially, we will issue a revised quotation before starting work.
Plumbing, roofing and waterproofing work can reveal concealed defects — corroded pipes behind walls, rotten battens under tiles. Where we discover work beyond the quoted scope, we stop, explain, and price the variation in writing. We do not proceed with additional chargeable work without your approval.
You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area at agreed times, including arranging permits or access approvals required by building management. Where a crew arrives at the agreed time and cannot access the site, a call-out fee may apply to the rescheduled visit.
Small jobs are payable on completion. Larger projects follow the payment schedule in the quotation, typically a deposit on confirmation with the balance on handover. Payment may be made by bank transfer, DuitNow or cash against an official receipt. Invoices unpaid 14 days after handover may accrue late interest at 1.5% per month.
Unless stated otherwise in your quotation: general plumbing, drainage and roofing workmanship is warranted for 12 months from handover; torch-on membrane waterproofing carries a workmanship warranty of up to 5 years. The warranty covers failure of our workmanship, not damage caused by third parties, subsequent renovations, ground movement, or defects in customer-supplied materials. Manufacturer warranties on supplied fittings pass to you at handover.
We carry public liability insurance appropriate to residential and commercial works. Our total liability for any claim arising from a job is limited to the value of that job, except where Malaysian law does not permit such a limit. We are not liable for pre-existing defects we did not cause, nor for consequential losses such as loss of rental income, save where caused by our proven negligence.
You confirm you are entitled to authorise works at the property (as owner, tenant with consent, or authorised manager). You agree to inform us of known hazards — asbestos sheeting, live concealed cables, structural issues — before work begins.
Confirmed bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Deposits on larger projects are refunded less costs already incurred for materials ordered specifically for your job. See our Return & Refund Policy for details.
